The Amazing Race

It is almost like we began our own version of The Amazing Race.  In this race, you must complete the following tasks in 8 hours.  If you do not complete these tasks today, your team may face elimination from the race.  Good luck! 

• Cheesy, riverboat tourist cruise:  Task completed

 

Cute Restaurants all along the river:  Robertson Quay (pronounced key), Clarke Quay, and Boat Quay.  We went into Marina Bay and also saw the Singapore Flyer and the Merlion from the water. 

• Decorate your own cake at the Icing Room.  Task Completed. 

The girls used two different styles on decorating their cakes. 

Tie Dye used the "strategically place the icing and candy" method for decorating while . . .

Keylime went for the "put all the icing and candy they give you on top" decorating style.

(or also known as the "put a whole bunch in your mouth before it ever reaches your cake" technique)

• Take pictures with friends at a photo booth at MRT station.  Task Completed. 

What I should have taken a picture of is the line of people waiting at an ATM nearby.  They were all laughing at the four of them in this booth.  The girls were in there a long time and were laughing and talking.  All we could see were legs. 

• Climb a rock wall.  A tall one.  Task Completed

Tie Dye was first . . .
