Mr. Popper's Penguins
It was really hot here on Monday so the girls and I went to the movies. We saw Mr. Popper's Penguins. Cute movie. The movie theater was attached to one of the many shopping malls and was very clean and fancy. While we waiting in line, I noticed that there were quite a few signs about getting tickets online but I hadn't done that. When we get to the ticket counter, she asked me where I would like to sit . . . middle seats four rows from the back, aisle-way seats? I pick the aisle seats. Guess this is why is it critical to get your tickets on line during busy times. You get assigned seats for the movies. We were in H 21, 22 & 23. We get popcorn, you can pick between sweet or salty. We went with salty. We walk into the theater and it is really nice plush seats, all stadium seating and the screen is huge. We were early and there is one group in there already, a mom with two girls. So we are trying to figure out where our seats are and, of course, our seats are directly in front of the only three people in the theater! Really? This is a big theater and we are sitting right in front of the only others in there. AWKWARD. I am a rule follower. I am wired that way. We stay in our seats since I am not sure how crowded it will be and what protocol is. The other mom, of course, using good common sense, moves over a few seats so they aren't directly behind us. Oh well! Problem solved. Then the movie starts and I have a thought . . . I didn't check to see if the movie was in English or Chinese? . . . .
