Ok girls, it is time to talk fashion. BTW, you should be scared now that I am enlightening you on fashion. Have I not looked in the mirror? So here goes . . . while walking the crowded streets, the beautiful women of Singapore wear lots of short summer dresses and fun short skirts. Fashion forward, cute outfits. Although a surprising number of women wear pants here, including jeans. Do they not know that it is hot here? I could profusely start sweating just thinking about long pants here.
Shoes are king here . . . high heeled shoes. I can't help but think of shoe savvy friends like Laura V and Amy J! I am not a shoe girl but there are really some cute ones around, not to mention lots of shoe stores. What I can't figure out is how each and every one of these women isn't in some sort of cast on their ankles and that they don't have blisters on their feet. Walking the uneven sidewalks, up and down lots of stairs, getting on and off the MRT. I think I just broke my ankle and got a blister thinking about it! I have twisted my ankles several time while walking in my FLAT flip flops and have only three pairs of shoes that HAVEN'T given me blisters!
So a shout out to all the ladies in shorts, plain t-shirts, and flat sandals as well as my fashion forward friends today!
