It seemed like a good idea . . .

We have been here two weeks.  Hard to believe.  Time is flying!  Our flight arrived in Singapore at 1:00 a.m. on a Friday morning.  We were so awake that we stayed up most of that night (because it was daytime in the U.S., are you with me?)  So the plan was to be running around all day so the girls couldn't sleep during our first full day in Singapore.  That way they would sleep when it was night here and we would get on this time easier.  The girls were exhausted yet we walked and walked through the city getting a quick glimpse of some of the city.  The girls were begging to go to bed they were so tired but we were relentless!  When get back to the apartment around 5:00 p.m. M runs out to the store while I am cooking spaghetti for dinner.  The girls, of course, fall asleep as soon as they land on the sofa.  Almost instantly!

So this is what seemed like a good idea.  I tell M, let's wake them up to eat so they won't wake us up in the middle of the night to tell us they are hungry. Really, it's all about me.  I am pretty pleased with myself since this seems like a good idea to me (Seriously, when did I become so knowledgeable on travel, NOT!)

You have to see this video of Keylime at dinner that night.  I have been trying to figure out the best way to post it and with it's size, I had to post on You Tube.  Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdySC-Ci8mI  It is called "The face of jetlag"

Keep in mind, she doesn't remember any of this.  She remembers falling asleep on the sofa and waking up the next morning.  Nothing about dinner.  The shaking of the video is me laughing while I am holding the camera.

that video is both hilarious and sad. You should have filmed the girls while dragging them like Zombies around the city! U guys are too funny
